no the head gasket will not be good.. its 3 diffrent "sheets" of metal and its a crush gasket so once you "crush" it down and take it off its no good it wont seal like its suposed to and youll have to take it off again and get a new one.
do it right the first time save your self the extra work

Hell No lol, i dont know but when i got it it said on the package their is a specil blue sealant around the head gasket to help with the envirmonetal safety and for a better and longer lasting seal. so i took it out and it was all metal 3 sheets and had blue on it. it was dried up the blue stuff though. it a new kind of gasket they just started making.

I've run used 3 layer head gaskets, used one layer gaskets and never really had a sealing problem. But my boy has a oring and step decked block, that we cant seem to get to seal. So.........
That is not true, it might be true for something like an exhaust gasket. Only the middle section is metal, the top and bottom are what forms the seal, the metal middle gives the gasket integrity. Many people including myself have torqued a head town with a new gasket in order to clay the motor etc, this does not affect using it. It's the HEAT, once you run the engine that alters the gaskets characteristics and requires it to be replaced once the head has been removed again.
