Default alarm is blown maybe

ok so i think my alarm blew maybe i hooked up pos to neg and neg to pos on a battery at night not paying attention blah blah.... ok so i checked all the fuses on the alarm like 3 coming right off the brain and one by the battery all good... but also my ignition control locks dont work anymore, when i start the car it doesnt automaticlly lock like it uysed to. i have a 2000 integra gs, so is there a igniton control fuse somewhere? under the footboard? or under the engine? and any suggestions?

its a crimestopper got it on the internet for like 150 said it was 350 also worked for me, for the model i dunno the box is in the garbage srry but weird thing is the igniton control locks dont work anymore

You may have to reprogram the feature back in to the alarm. Look in the manual to verify hope you didn't throw that away also.

the manual to the alarm?? or car manual? because i have my cars' origanal manual. i might have misplaced the alarms box somewhere also

The manual for the alarm it should show you the steps to go about reprogramming the feature back into the alarm. But if is the owners manual it most likely will not show you, you will need the install manual. If you had it installed at a shop a lot of time they won't give you the install manuals.

noooo i was cleaning up my room and i threw away my box to the alarm cuz i didnt ever touch it for like 1 year. ahhh ill do some research maybe someone else will have this alarm

also besisde the alarm not working the igniton control locks dont work anymore either what abt that??

Use a volt meter and test each side of the fuse and see if it is getting 12volts sometimes the fuse may not look blown but it is. I've seen fuses that did not break at the center before.

Maybe one of your main fuses ( the square ones )in the engine bay might of blown also.

yea really ok ill check them to then. but i looked on the fuse boxes before it doesnt say igniton control locks. what would it say?

Your going to have to stick your head up under the dash and get a model number off the alarm for us to be of any real help. 94

ok never mind i found it! hahaha got lucky looking for a cd of mine and found the alarm box in the closet. the model is crimestopper cs-2016dpiifm i hope that helps getting me help but also still on the fuse boxes i never saw anything say ignition control locks, what would it say for that or would that be interconnected with the alarm?

Yes, it will be in "Programmable Options" probably option #2 "Auto Lock with Ignition" 94

ok so that got me to programming features but it doesnt say how to program the alarm itself just features like when i push buttons on my remotes it dont even chirp but ill try the auto lock thing tomorrow. how did you know do you have the same one??
