Hello,
My GSR is coming up on rebuild time, and I am looking at stroking it during the rebuild. However, before I put any time into researching this build, I want to know if there will be a smog problem due to the added displacement. Keep in mind, the engine will have stock cams (ITR), head, etc., just a displacement-up and some higher compression (ITR). The ECU will be tuned for daily driveability and low end/mid range. It's not a race engine, it will actually be a tow engine.
Is there anyone out there running a bored/stroked GSR and passing smog (correctly)?
Thanks,
