need tunable ecu for H22a Auto Swap
i have a built na h22a in my cb7 accord and need an ecu i can chip and tune with, currently i have a apexi neo but need more. i have been told to use a p72 or p28(being the better on). just want to make sure. im running 11.5:1 comp. skunk2 valvetrain and stage 2 cams. skunk2 intake mani and tb. aem fuel rail and reg. msd scil box and still need to get bigger injectors but for now need a good tuned ecu
The P28 ecu will not control the auto tranny. You can get the P72 to control the trans, but it is not exact with the shift map being off. A similar option is to get the LS ecu and TCM. HAve you converted it to OBD1 already?
its in a cb7 90-93 accord so its obd1 to start and as far as controlling the trans...i have the h22a auto ecu and tcu also. the trans has a seperate computer but the ecu has inputs and outputs to the tcu. i was told a p28 is my best choice and have found auto ones on ebay goin pretty cheap.
A P28 ecu does not integrate with the auto TCM. The P28 ecu comes from a car that has two sensors for the auto tranny and the rest of the functions controlled by cable linkages. What are the numbers on your OBD1 auto ECU and TCM from the H22a?
