You think that he can get into the 12's with street tires? I think that is a little fast, especially if he doesnt have some sort of lsd or anything like that. I think more like the 13's some where. Traction will be a bitch and a half. I am peeling out through all five gears, though fifth it isnt that bad, and I am running on a b16 that is about to blow with 6 psi.....

baseing my assumption upon the fact my heavy *** coupe is in 13s on street tires.

a light *** cx w/ the same set up should hit 12s w/ a good driver.

well I've seen a 93 eg dx htbk I believe or was it si.. making 186whp/190lbs torque... this is totally untuned turbo engine.. run mid 13s@112mph with a b16motor built and T4 turbo.. and b16tranny... now he makes like close to 380whp after tuning so hahah it should be a beast

heres the deal..........my boy had a dx coupe totally stock gsr motor except for jg throttle body. he made a turbo kit with a manifold, jdm s15 t28 bb, 12-1fmu, btm(set at 0) stock injectors/stock gsr ecu, hipressure fuel pump, front mount(home made) full exhaust greddy...........12.6 11 psi on slicks. btw... this pic was taken right after he sold the turbo kit. car is now n/a. Just dont be too disappointed when you're running constant mid 14s...

High 12s is very possible with that setup.

A friend of mine was running running 12.6's all day long in his partially gutted coupe on some radials with GSR at maybe 12psi I belive. Not exactly sure, it was low since it was stock bottom end.

i think traction is everyones goal when ur pushing the 200 whp mark and 170tq...especially on street tires...but its not all about 250 whp i can prob hit 12's with just 200 whp in my cx...im already at 13.6 untuned on stock tires at 8 lbs of boost...it all depends on the driver....i bet if a fairly new drag racing guy here was givin a 11 second drag car they would get mid 12's at best and 13's more likely...my first outting with my turbo o ran a 14.9 at 100..by the 4th run i hit 13.6 with 102...so when u ask what should i run its too general but with that power 12's no problem esp. with slicks BUT doesnt gaurantee it of course
