Default what do you guys recommend?

i was hearing that the s300 hondata with boost solenoid is the way to go with a boosted ef obd1 setup.

what do you guys think is this a well proven em for something kinda small and simple. td03 sohc ef.
reliability is the idea with my setup.

i have noticed as well that some online shops are doing a p28 with the s300 deals. im not familiar enough with the prices. what is a good price if its one of those deals? or should i just get a p06 and get the s300 on the side?

if you want to save money, you can tune the ecu yourself by swapping chips out and datalogging, etc with a wideband O2 sensor and Chrome, but it may take more time and skills to do yourself.

If your not going to tune yourself then you don't really need an S300. There are lots of other options Neptune, Ectune, Crome etc. Just contact a local Honda tuner and see what they use/recommend.
