carbon fiber antenna cover = no radio?

This might be a stupid question...

Thinkin about getting a carbon fiber antenna block/cover for my 95 Del Sol. If I put that on would that totally kill my signal for the radio? And do you know where I can buy one??

I got my cf block off plate on ebay, I had to remove the antenna assembly (it has a plug in point in the driver left knee bolster area), I've got marginal to no signal but I rarely listen to the radio in my car (thus my lack of exacting info). I'd say if you wanna keep your reception and have the cf block off I'd get a window mount antenna (something like THIS)...

Do know that there are loads of antenna's on ebay, that was just one that best showed what I was looking for...

I personally love my pointless pieces of cf, it's the little touches that makes it unique and keeps me from going cf crazy and start buying EVERYTHING....
