I don't think I've ever seen a whole cover in CF, although it doesn't surprise me. Spoon and a bunch of over companies make CF plug covers though... Would CF even be good for this since it's under constant vibration and heat? I mean I know CF is strong, but I thought it was brittle too?

yeah... aluminum cover w/ carbon fiber overlay... probably made in the same way my friend made my spark plug cover.
They claim it is real......

^ That's what I was thinking. The CF on aluminium makes sense, but by itself I'd say it's iffy... I guess if a CF shell can take the heat of a V10 F1 engine it might be able to handle the valvetrain of a L4 Honda though

to each their own, maybe someone wants a cf valve cover to match their cf intake manifold. and cf intake piping. what next? cf exhaust manifold. perosnally i like the look of carbon fiber. but hey everyone has their own opinions.
either way, too rich for my blood. i cant even afford a swap

Unless you can get a great deal, a carbon fiber valve cover does about as much good a real Mugen valve cover. Most cf valve covers that you will find are either carbon fiber covered metal valve covers or lack the ability use the stock valve cover gasket.
Also, none of the CF valve covers I've seen have a timing belt cover.
This is my valve cover
(All carbon fiber, but unfortunately not OEM gasket compatible)

i dunno about anyone else, but i think that looks pretty damn sick. if they weren't $500, i'd definitly get one...and if i had a b-series
does it come with a gasket kit, and are replacement gaskets available for it?

okay i retract my previous statement,..after seeing hash brown's VC,..i think it looks good,..maybe because the picture is dark meaning the entire bay is dark,..i only thought it was ugly because ive never actually seen it on a head,..i just saw pictures of the CF VC by itself

On the non-gasket compatible valve covers, it is suggested that you use RTV sealant (aka: make your own gasket) to seal the head and valve cover. It's almost more trouble than it's worth, but if you really want that CF bling, I suppose it's worth doing.
I do believe a CF J's racing intake connected to an Endyn CF intake manifold would compliment the CF valve cover nicely. If you had the money to drop $500 on the valve cover, you should probably have the first two already. I got mine used and at a ridiculous price Go go ramen budgets.
