95 LS 2dr lowered w/B16A trans. Nothing special. Stock motor.

Problem #1

My speedometer is consistently 15mph off but if it's cold outside it can be upwards of +35mph (Going 70 mph and it will say I'm going 35 mph). I replaced the VSS to no avail. I'm thinking it's something with the speedometer? I unplugged the cluster to check if there was anything wrong with the wires but everything looked fine and I'm still having the same problem. I've done a bunch of reseach to no avail...

Problem #2

My coolant temp gauge doesn't work. I'm not sure if this is cluster related or if it needs another sensor. Which sensor would it be that I would have to replace if that were the cause?

Problem #3

Every once in awhile the ABS motor will make a buzzing sound for 15 sec and then the ABS light will come on. If it doesn't make the buzzing sound the light comes on anyways. Is the pump cavitating? Does it need a new pump?

Problem #4

My AC unit might be sh*tting the bed as well. It makes a loud chirp when I turn on the AC and then it repeats it every minute or so. When It does this chirp thing the motor hesitates a bit which is odd. I think it might be something to do with the internal clutch. Any suggestions?

First: try a new cluster cause if the speedo is malfuntioning I could assmue that the other gauges are as well.

second: the abs seems like just what you said... The pump may need repair or replacement

Third: I had the same problem with my brother's ac it need a new clutch

 

Well My ABS pump still buzzes for a few seconds. Its jsut pressurizing. But check the brake fluid in the pump. Might be low. Once i filled mine up, my ABS light turned off. give that a try. REMOVE AC All together. haha

 

Yeah removing the who AC system in Texas would be a mega-Fail. Do I just replace the compressor? I've got an extra from my D-series; would that work?

Also the Fuel & Tach work fine, it's just those two gauges
