okay i have a boosted 98 prelude and it used to be running off an aem fic piggyback. Well i purchased a chipped p28 and im in the process of instaliing it and i have run into some problems. The factory wiring was hacked to run the fic and ive unistalled it and connected as many wires as i can back to how they were. Im stuck on 2 left over wires. I have 2 brown wires with black strippes coming from the firewall and all the wires on the back of the connectors that plug into the ecu have been used. Does anybody have idea what these wire could go to? Is it possible that multiple wires connect to 1? I wouldnt think so but.. idk Can someone get me a pic of the factory wiring coming from the firewall running to the ecu from a 5th gen prelude? Or better yet could someone trace the brown wires with black strippes on there car and tell me where they plug into. That would be awesome. I really want to get the car up and running. These are the only left over wires and i dont wanna learn the wrong way on what they do. I rele need a pinout for this stuff or some pic to use as reference.

 

had same problem on my teg, try ground, mine went to ground and thermostat. hope that helps some ,ima noob too.google the pin outs

 

I pulled up a wiring schematic and the brwn/blk wires were labled as LG1 and LG2. Which are grounds for the ignition. Im gonna wire them to one of the shielded/sleeved wires tomorrow and see how it works.

 

They are Logic Grounds that goto the thermostat. Along with 2 other ground wires that tie into various sensors. The pinouts will be A9/A22. It doesnt matter which goes to which.
