Default gsr harness or d16 harness

hey everyone... have a question. im putting a obd2 gsr motor into my 98 civic. i was wondering what harness to use. the gsr one is a two peice harness and the d16 one is a one peice. i was told i can use the d16 harness on the gsr but i need to hook up vtec and some other sensors.

another thing the dizzy on the gsr has two plugs while the d16 has one. if i were to use the d16 harness what would i do about that?

thanks for the help guys

If you distributor has 2 plugs, then it's OBD1. So you might want to check the OBD of your engine again, as well as the plug for your alternator and injectors. But there are a couple things you can do with the distributor wiring issue. You could get an OBD2 B-series distributor, get the OBD1 harness side distributor plugs and rewire your harness for them, do that with the distributor plug instead, swap the guts from your stock Civic distributor into the OBD1 housing, or buy an OBD2 to OBD1 distributor adapter.
