Just making sure...
Today on my way home, my integra stalled on me. The battery light was on and I knew the battery itself was weak but I was sure I could make it home (I just bought the car today) since it started and the alternator would kick in from then on. A few minutes after leaving the car started to buck and pressing the throttle, nothing would happen. I turn off some accessories and it rolled fine for a while (wiper was very slow/radio lights off/clock off/hazards didn't work). Until I got to a set of lights and it just died on the stop. Couldn't start it etc...
Got it towed to a car parts store and bought myself a battery, started up A1 work fine, no hitches all the way home. Just wondering if it's my alternator acting up? My battery light is still on even with the new battery so I'm assuming the alternator isn't charging anymore. Apparently the seller says it's new but we are still going to get it switched next week. Anything I can do to maybe avoid getting a new one for the time being? I'm going to check my grounds and sand my contacts tomorrow.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

yeah all that sound like your alternator is giving out but a good way to make sure it is. if u get your car running and WHILE ITS RUNNING disconnent the negative terminel from your battery if your car turn off for sure its your alternator cuz your alternator car run your car without the battery once its on.. if your car stay on then your have a different problem.... but its look like it would be your alternator
also he might of got a rebuild one and those dont last long i know i had to change it 3 times in less then a year so i wont go with a rebuild one again its cheaper but u getting what u pay for if u lucky u can find a good used one with low miles
