The spring that is used is determined by the amount of vacumm your motor is pulling. Download this pdf from tial. Find out the average amount of vacumm your motor pulls for your motor at idle. Then get the color spring that the chart tells you to run. You can open your BOV or look on the box to determine what color spring you currently have.

The amount of BOOST running is determined by your WASTEGATE spring.

andy knew what i was trying to ask though, but honestly who does all that.. is there maybe a way i can call a company and tell them what my set up is exactly and they can recommend something that will be close if not exactly what i need.... and how serious is the spring rate of the blow off valve if someone gets it wrong.... what can it harm and how bad etc

thanks!
