so if im planning on running 12lbs of boost, would i order the tial blow off valve with a 11lbs spring?
someone shed some light on the subject
difference in springs and why there are different pressures?

The spring that is used is determined by the amount of vacumm your motor is pulling. Download this pdf from tial. Find out the average amount of vacumm your motor pulls for your motor at idle. Then get the color spring that the chart tells you to run. You can open your BOV or look on the box to determine what color spring you currently have.

thanks!
