B16 Turbo Starts But Dies!!!
I have a 96 Civic with a B16A Turbo setup. I just changed the head gasket, timing belt, and water pump. When I went to fire up the car it started and I was just letting it sit there for the coolant to run through the motor and when I went to go hit throttle, the car died. I went to go crank it again after that and then it would start no more. So I let it sit for a few minutes and crank it again and it fires up but now it idles really low just barely above zero and if I hit the throttle it would die on me again. Does anybody know what might have went wrong or if there is something that I should check?
it might be the map sensor also. I don't have a turbo on my car but if the map sensor is bad, then it'll idle the car but will die as soon as too much air comes in. Thats just my advice, but like everyone says triple check the timing
