Wiring up a switch? Please help, coolast is ALL over engine bay.
Here is the scenario. My rad is blown and it sprays coolant from many places up top, my whole engine bay is in coolant and i have to refil the rad twice a day to get around and have to turn off my engine constantly. I checked if the fan is broken, but the fan works, however it didn't come on for a while while the car was idling therefore my rad blew. Now i need to make a switch that will automatically allow me to turn the fan on/off. Can somebody help me, tell me all the materials i will need and how to do it. Thanks.

locate the themostatic fan switch (passenger side of the engine block, has 2 wires sticking our of it) disconnect it and jump the contacts with a wire or paper clip, then secure it with electrical tape. Voila! the fan will be on as long as your car is running.
Call me crazy, but my car has no heater or a/c from behind the dash, i took that out a while back. Weights a TON. Thanks all.
