I have a moon roof .. one that pop open a little.. is there a complete sun roof that will fit in my eg hatch ..like direct drop in from another make/model

 

i have a 94 ex coupe model. my sunroof is a glass one that lifts up and slides back. idk if thats what your asking about but i believe al ex models have this sunroof

 

from what i can tell from hondaautomotiveparts.com the 92-95 coupe and hatch sunroofs have the same part numbers for the sunroof frame and seal but NOT the 4drs

 

yeah mine just pops up no sliding.. thanks dead i'll see if i can get my hands on one!

 

Do you have the controls to bump it up or do you do it manually, cause the motor might be broke..i know when i bought my Ex coupe a while back it would pop up and i just did some WD40 and it slid back...

Are you saying you have an aftermarket moonroof that just pops open or that you have a stock moonroof that is broken?

Btw, I'm not sure if there is confusion over moon versus sun.

A sunroof is basically a sliding or popping panel on the roof of your car. A moonroof is the same, but with glass or a see-through plastic. Moonroof = sunroof with see-through panel.

 

Ah-hah. So, to get a little pedantic here ... and if NOFX's definition is indeed what the OP meant ... then YES a "sunroof" did exist for your vehicle. In Europe, all(?) 92-95 Civics came with sunroofs, NOT moonroofs. No glass overhead.

 

I just don't exactly know what the OP means. I'm not trying to insult anyone or show off.

 

Yeah that was what i was trying to clairafy as well...cause the 92-95's i thought all came with SUN roofs, and was asking if there was a track..the motor might be shot or it might just be stuck..the OP is the only one who can awnser that question.
