changing the head gasket on my b16, everything is off, cams and all. I CANT GET THE HEAD BOLTS OFF, does anyone know what size the head bolts are? just so i can make sure im using the right socket

 

Don't make more than one thread on the same thing on the same day or you end up on our collective ****-list.

 

they are 14mm.
how could you possibly not tell?

 

use a 14 mm 6 point socket and a braker bar

 

i thought it was a 12 point

 

yea no. they're standard 6pt 14mm bolts

14mm remove in sequence, <1/2 turn each untill loose

 

When I was doing my b16 swap in the rex we broke 4 sockets. Even a impact socket trying to get those darn head bolts out. Ended up not getting the off. Hope I can when I get all the parts to rebuild the top end. Good luck getting them off.
