First swap I ever bought was from a guy up in klamath falls he was a older guy and wrecked his 95 gsr. I bought it and took everything I could, motor/trans/ecu seats rear brakes, took the vins parted most of the shell and sold the car to the j/y. I've had some friends who bought their swaps off passwordjdm and were quite happy with them. Garage 808 can probably hook you up with a legit pretty clean swap to. I only recomend them because your in oregon and so are they and I've seen their work it's great. I bought a b20b from nippon-motors.com and was pretty happy with it never got to run the motor though. I bought a gsr swap from a pp and finally tore in to it to find lots of damage. Just go with a place that offer's warentys like nippon or 808.
peace

i hope 808 is not crazy with there prices, a shop in salem wants 2400 just for a b16 swap with a cable tranny, i mean come on i can order me a jdm gsr swap for that price plus shipping

i bought my swap off a friend of a friend. my friend is a great mechanic and knew what went into the motor. i think if you are looking into a store basically, you just gotta weigh the goods you get with the price. usually, from what i hear round here, people the buy jdm motors have no real problems with them. they say that they dont really change the oil in the motors in japan, but idk... i would talk with companies and see what they can tell you. or start making friends

Hmotorsonline has great prices and they have the best motors. I have never heard anything bad about these guys. I mean 1600 + shipping for a complete change over b16, thats motors trans, ecu, axles, etc. Comes with 100% startup warranty also.
