Should i be happy?
hey everyone, my dad just bought a '93 honda del sol s type. ya ya, i know, it's not the nicest del sol out, and that's what i am trying to figure out. It is a very sweet car, i mean, it's a stick, convertible, and red, what else can u ask for, other than more h/p. Anyway, all i basicaly wanted to know is, should i ask him to sell it, give me the money, and let me buy another car, or do u guys think i should keep it?
Keep it man. Del Sols are loads of fun to own and drive. Save up your money and do a swap if you want more power...and you have the lightest model Sol made so that's good.

Just be happy with what you've got. It's a very generous gift.

I agree. However, I think I'd have asked for a little more say in what happened, but then again, I don't know your situation.
My parents bought my car originally too (as a very early graduation gift from grad school). It was actually a major help out as I'd gone through a messy break up and got royally screwed over car-wise. I, however, never ever even considered selling the car they paid for.....that was in 1997, and I still have it (see sig!).
My opinion.....
