can someone give me a diagram of stuff to get a gsr into an ek? all the lines and stuff are a lot different than the LS which i took out just now. i just need to know where the vacuums go etc.

its a obd2 gsr.

i cant get the car to start either

there is water from the radiator coming out of the iacv??? through a drain plug and im starting to think the engine is donezo like rings or something i havent yet done a compression test. trynig to get my tools

 

forgot a ground all fixed

 

ok car shut off on me.. checked all my wiring and its there.. not getting spark

 

changed out the dizzy and still not workin just cranks

 

getting spark but its WEAK with brand new dizzy

 

what about fuel? if you have both might be timing...

 

is your ground on good? you need a few, the more the better=].

at least one on the transmission and one on the valvecover.

 

yes, fuel and spark is there, compression is there.

i have 3 grounds, vc, trans, and tstat hosueing

 

hey man im in the process of doing the exact same swap right now. what wiring harness did you use?

 

stock ex harness. extended some wires tho

 

what about for the dizzy? the ex harness has one plug and the gsr has 2 doesnt it?

 

no i modified the dizzy plug by unplugging all the wires from my harness and using a pigtail from another harness to make it nicey nice. btw my engine is obd2 not obd1 which has 2 plugs

 

honestly dont even know where to diagnose the car. i second checked everything.. and from what i know, its geting fuel spark and compression.

 

obd1 gsr dizzy has 2, the obd2 one has one big plug. check spark plug gap???? it should run. stumped

 

timing skipped. intake cam jumpd 180*.. all fixed now tho
