am i set for my turbo? (injector help too!)
here is my set up.
-stock ls
-aem engine management
-t/3 gredy turbo
-all piping
-inter cooler
-down pipe
-turbo timer
-blow off valve
-external waste gauge
-mani
-new gaskets
-new oil pan with tapp
-all oil lines
-aem fuel rail
-walb fuel pump
-all gauges (boost, air to fuel, oil pressure)
-550 cc rc injectors (peek and hold)
***will these fit right in? no need to cut or anything? or need to run anything extra?***
** im only looking to run 5 pounds of boost. nothing crazy for now, just want to have some boost. and later on build a motor that can take more. is there anything that i will need to complete this kit? Thanks for your help!!

With that setup, dont limit yourself to 5psi. Your stock LS engine (with a good setup and tune) can easily manage 300whp...you won't come close to that with 5psi. I would run 10psi if you're on the stock MAP sensor and possibly more (depending on what your tuner thinks) if you have an aftermarket MAP sensor. One more thing...i would use Crome. Sure AEM is a great tuning software, but it's overkill for your setup...especially at such low boost. It has a ton of great features, but i doubt you'll ever use them. I've run Crome on all of my setups and plan to continue that trend...Finally, if you dont already have it installed, you may as well sell the AEM fuel rail too. There's no need for it. The stock rail will provide more than enough fuel volume. I'm still running mine and hoping for the numbers below on E85 which requires 30% more fuel volume than gasoline
You'll probably want to upgrade your clutch, but I don't think it will be a neccesity right off the bat. When you replace your clutch you might aswell put a lighter flywheel in too. I am using a 12lbs one and I like it.

i already have the AEM, and i know what later on i want to go more. but just for now 5 psi is all i want. i want to get another LS and build it for that kinda pressure. aem fuel rail is just to make sure. i dont want something stupid to happen just because my fuel did not get in.
i think it might already be upgraded? haha but who knows. this is why i am running 5psi, as i told everyone, i want to build an LS with all that stuff.

you are investing a lot at the moment to just run 5psi especially with that tiny turbo. Then add the cost of tuning its just not worth it. Get a clutch that will hold at least 300whp, no need for a lighter flywheel and a 2.5bar map sensor so you can up the boost. Trust me, I would not expect more than 180whp with that turbo on 5psi.
He's right, 5psi is not enough. I ran 7psi on my stock GSR for 2 years and 30,000 miles with ZERO issues even with the factory clutch. The GSR has much higher compression than the LS, if I were you I would run 10psi, for sure no less than 7.
okay guys, past the boost. what do i have to do to get the injectors working??? im confuzed on this part more than anything!
thanks for all the input! (keep it coming)

That's mainly in the tune there. If you don't know how to setup the AEM for those, time to get to a professional pronto.
it is going to get tuned. i am taking it with the stock injectors(and stock ecu) to the shop first. i just want to make sure that everything is done for them and i can just put in the new injectors and let them tune it.... so does that mean that i do not need to get inline resistors???? once again im just confused with all this injector crap!
i am at the same point you are with my gsr turbo project and i have 440cc injectors that are peak and hold. you have to either run a resistor box or the inline resistors.
thanks!!
im not sure which ones you have but when i got mine they came with new clips that i had to wire up. its either way, i have the resistor box on mine, its just what you want. im dont think there is any differance besides ones a box and the other go inline. your injectors didnt come with any clips?
if you end up running the resistor box, here you go.

don't feel like going to the garage right now. but will give you the part numbers in the morn
10watt 10ohm resistor from radio shack, come in packs of 2 for like $2.50
found a link about it:

or you can do it the old fashion(box) way

My GSR is wired up this way, Easy, clean and cheap....can't beat that.
