Default **EXTRA Wire in harness**

Whats up H-T
Ive recently have had some car starting issues, it just died on me one day and now no start.
Ive looked over alot of things and decided to take the harness off and rewire the whole thing (previous owner of motor did shitty job)

My question is, does anyone know where a YEL/RED wire would go to near the alternator?!
I did find a 1-pin connector laying on top of my oil filter but the stray wire has a female connector on it and i dotn think it hooked in there before.

Im stumped, about to put the harness back on tomorrow and was just curious if anyone knoew what the YEL/RED wire was for.

thanks for the help...

For the no-start problem, does the engine crank but not start? If so, does the fuel pump prime and is there spark at the plugs?

The oil pressure light on the dash won't work. Should not affect starting.

Did the timing belt snap. Peer into the oil fill hole while a buddy cranks the engine. You should see the rocker arms move if the timing belt is intact.

Do the coil and ICM have battery voltage on the Blk/Yel wire when the key is turned to ON(II). If so, then have the coil and ICM tested.

Timing belt seems to be intact, but I will check tomorrow.
One thing that worried me was the exh. camgear had the up arrow UP, and the intake camgear it was say at the 4oclock position. I havent rotated the engine manually but could thsi be becuase the 2:1 ratio b/w the cams and crank?!?

Im pretty sure bat. voltage is present at both the coil/ICM i will also double check that tomorrow. BTW I did replace the coil, did a OHM test and readings were kind of out of spec.
