Default Starting problems (car #1)

Battery - no idea how old
Alternator - no idea how old
Starter - no idea how old
Spark Plugs - couple months old
Distrib Cap - couple months old
Rotor - couple months old
Spark Plug Wires - couple months old

When I start the car it helps if I pump the gas a couple of times. Always starts easiest the first time of the day, if u go to stores and such, each time it takes more and more cranks. Engine cranks very quickly but it takes a good 10-15+ cranks before the car starts.

What could be my problem? I'm thinking starter but I wanted some other points of views.

Default Starting Problem (car #2)

Battery - no idea how old
Alternator - a year old
Starter - no idea how old
Fuel Pump - a year old
Main Relay - a year old
Spark Plugs - fairly new
Plug wires - fairly new
Distrib Cap and Rotor - fairly new

When I start my car after it has been sitting for a little while it doesn't really have difficulity turning but it turns slowly. And when it ignites it sound sorta like a very fat low pitch sneeze and its fine after that.

What could be my problem? I'm thinking battery but I wanted a second opinion.

If your car starts every time when cold but has problems when it is warm/hot is it your main relay. Located near the fuse box towards the drive side door. (Behind the coin box)

Remove this (difficult to get to but manageable) take it apart and re-solder all the joints on the circuit board. If the circuit board is pitted with flux and such give it a clean off with some turps or similar.

Once it is all re-soldered plug it back in and all should be well
