Icon3 91 Integra- seems like distributer problems- throwing a fuel system code though

I need help! A couple weeks ago my car was running fine- all of a sudden acted like it was out of gas and and died. It started back up and ran for a second and shut back off. Then wouldn't start back at all. It acted like it had jumped timing- back firing a little and just not starting. But the timing was fine. I checked the computer and it was throwing a fuel system code. After checking the fuel pump, fuel pump relay, fuel pressure reg, and making sure gas was getting to the injectors, I decided the fuel system seemed pretty solid. I checked for spark and it was getting a spark but not a real strong one. So I took the distributer cap off and found that the rotary button was melted. I replaced the button and the cap with new ones and also put another distributer on in. .... thinking maybe the berrings in the dist had gotten hot causing it to melt the button. . . . well it run great for a couple of days. (i also put new plugs and wires on the car and replaced the valve cover gasket- it had a little oil around the spark plugs) After a few days the car started acting up again. The first sign of the problem is the tacometer starts going crazy! Jumping around- all the way up to 7K. Then it starts missing- almost like having water in the distributer. I drove it all day like that. . . got home popped the cap on the distributer and the rotary button had vibrated loose. I tightened it back up and I was back in business. Drove it for about a week and guess what.. back to the same ****.... only this time it wouldn't start back up. So popped the distributer out and put my old one back in. This time the rotary button was still tight. No problem there.... Now with the original distributer its running but still missing. Its esspecially bad when you tac over 4 grand. Its still throwing a fuel system code. I don't know what else to check.... any ideas? I really need help. I'm having to drive a chevy and its killing me! LOL

Thanks

usually when it misses bad and your tach jumps up and down its the module inside the ditributor its a weird little thing that the wires on the coil come from make sure you reset your ecu also
