Default will a 96 trans work in a 94?

i have a 94 acura integra, and have a 1996 integra transmission. both are automatics.

Will the 96 work in the 94 car? They look identical, just want to see if anyone knows for sure.

Thanks in advance

Yezzir... As far as I know all 94-01 Integra transmissions are interchangeable. Most b-series transmissions are interchangeable for that mater.

That's not a true statement. All hydraulic B series are compatible and all cable B series are compatible

All manual '94 - '01 Integra transmissions are interchangeable. Automatics, I doubt it, but its possible.

haha wow, the 1 guy to actually read the original post. keeping in mind that the tranny is controlled by the ecu, and the ecu is different from 95 to 96, it'd make sense for the 96 auto tranny to have different sensors from the 95.
