Burnt valve replacement
I found a d15b2 for $90, but the seller says one of the cylinders is dead due to a burnt valve.
1. How hard is it to replace? I looked in the service manual but it doesn't tell you how, only how to remove the head.
2. Do I need any special tools to do this job?

Which service manual are you using?
Have to remove the head, remove the valve and then inspect to figure out WHY the valve burned in the first place. Fix whatever caused the valve the burn, lap the new valve, install valve, replace head, and set lash.

Sounds like I'd need to know what I'm doing. Scratch that idea then, thanks for the clarification.
I'm using a service manual I downloaded off somewhere
