Default Building a custom 3" system

I'm planning to build a custom 3" ex sys for my d16 greddy coupe...

I'm wondering.. should i use a resonator/damper .. or just straitpipe to the rear and then the "muffler"?

HKS, Greddy, thermal al use resonators + damper

(sorry i can't find the correct words....i'm from europe)

i just want low spool times... and a good flowing system...
sound doesn't bother me..

the downpipe wil also be replaced by a 3" dp

It won't if you have A/C

When I get my new manifold though I'm going to work on putting together a downpipe that starts at 2.5" and expands to 3" before it turns under the oil pan.

Mine is pretty "droning" sometimes, i have a 2.5 DP, 3" Carsound cat, 3" piping back to a 3" Magnaflow. Sounds REAL good, but pretty noisy. Thinking about putting a resonator on there.

I doubt it. Look inside a cat sometime

Thing is there is usually a VERY small difference on Hondas between test pipes and high flow cats...at least from the results I've read. Not worth it to me to use a test pipe on my daily driver.

BTW, as someone stated above, a 3" Thermal exhaust doesn't come with a resonator.
