Default ITR swap into EJ6

So my buddy is going to sell me his JDM ITR for ridiculously cheap, pending that i take the motor out of his hatch and swap my built B16 into it. I currently have the B16 in my EJ6 ('96 DX)...what my question is, will i have to switch over all of my wiring harnesses and what not to install the ITR into my EJ and the B16 into his hatch?? Also, my B16 has no P/S or A/C, and im going to take those off of the ITR as well. Can i simply unbolt them, remove all lines and belts and be done? im thinking not...Im running a chipped P28 on my B16 and im thinking about running it on the ITR...im going to be switching my AEM fuel rail, and RC310 injectors over from my B16 to the ITR also. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated...I would like to know some things to look out for or be aware of before i get hung up on any of those things...TIA for all your help HT community...

nobody has any info??

funny how if you bought a new car or got it stolen or have a catchy headline, you get rediculous amounts of responses....

but if you have a serious tech question that you need answered in most times a timely manner....it doesnt happen....

he has a 96-98 hatch....

hes running the JDM OBDII ECU and im running a OBDII to OBDI conversion harness for the P28....but i should be able to just plug my conversion harness into his main wiring harness of the ITR when i do the swap correct?

yea so you both have your b series in a 96-98 civic, then everything you have is obd2a so yes this should all be a direct swap

put the power steering back on the B16 and put it back on his car. same with the A/C

if he does not want either back on his car you have to loop the power steering lines coming out of the rack there is many threads on doing this. as for the A/C just remove all the lines in the engine bay and forget about it.

You will need to switch your harnesses because the EK and EG harnesses are not the same as you probably know. Good luck!

You said your buddy had a hatch...I assumed it was a '92 to '95 (considered an EG in japan). Thanks...hopes that helps!
