My question is what usdm iacv would i need to replace the jdm iacv? running obd1 so would a 95 del sol b16a work? all b series the same? please help erratic idle is drivin me nuts. also did try cleaning and it idled great then went back to the same ol problem after bout 3-4 hours of drivetime

no i have not changed throttle bodies i do not believe that is the problem same throttle body for over a year, and cleaning the iacv did temporarly solve my problem but then returned pretty sure i just need a new one just curious about which i need to replace it. im thinking i would need one for a 99-2000 SI due to both IM being obd-2 can anyone confirm this???

 

your best bet would be to use the usdm itr one!

 

Can't confirm which one you need. But it should be the del sol 94iacv. Also try making sure the connections are nice and clean....

 

ITR IIRC, type R IACVs have a slightly different bolt pattern where they mount to the IM comparted to everything else.

 

there is no doubt that you can use an itr one, the only question is would the other b16's work? I wouldnt even bother with a delsol and go directly to acura and buy an itr one!

 

yeah thing is there isnt a local acura dealer closest i believe is over 4 hours away, also just thinking bout it after getting some sleep, doesnt the CTR ITR and usdm civic si share the same casting for intake manis? just ported differently or something... i dont know for sure but if this was the case mounting wouldnt be an issue right??
