What Valve springs and Retainers?????
Im going to be puttin Civic type r cams in my b16a and would like to know what springs and retainers are good for this combo?? i tend to rev pretty high up to 9500 rpms so what springs have a good rating all the way to 10,000 rpms im going to be building the head and doing a port and polish and 3 angel valve job on it. please let me know some good sual springs and retainers to use and if over sized valves are worth a few extra hp. thanks
If I'm reading this right, you're revving your stock b16a cams to 9500 and plan to rev the new CTR cams to 10 GRAND?!?!??
Wow man, you must lose races to single slammers. Learn what a powerband is and stop revving the **** out of your car you ricer.

its over 9000!
Ok please just tell me some good b series springs and retainers you guys have ran and not say stupid quotes im asking for info not cut downs thanks
It would be in your best interest to match your valve springs to your cams. If you are going to upgrade your cams in the future determine what cams you want and ask the manufacturer for their advice. Then come on here, state your desired setup and plans and we'll try to help you out.
But to answer your basic question.
Supertech, Skunk2, Crower all make a good product.

Why would you put a period at the end of that disaster?

At those RPM I would be more worried about my rod and piston making contact with things they should never touch.

here the think i'm not understanding...unless you have work done, you're not making any power up that high...when vtec engages when i launch i still manage to shift at 8400rpm...i don't ever shift past 8800rpm and i own a B16b...i've seen enough dynographs that show where i start to lose power...but not to lecture, it's your motor
