You do not need to alter the distributor. Simply run an obd2 to obd1 ecu jumper & an obd1 ecu.

With plug and play systems do you need a dyno/ a good tune or can you plug it in and ready to go ?

why not go s300? Do you have an ecu that's not accepted by the s300?

A plug & play system may come with a good enough basemap pre-installed on it to where you can drive the vehicle without issues. You need to tune the vehicle for the best result.
