Default Hondata Question

I know I need to get conversion harness for OBD2 to OBD1, but my question is will I also have to run a OBD1 ECU. Im still trying to get this so if Im way off please dont kick my *** to bad. Its gonna have to be a s200b on a 99 y7

Why would you need the conversion harness to go to OBD1 if you didn't intend on using an OBD1 ECU.

The answer is Yes, you'll need to get an OBD1 ECU in order to chip it for Hondata.
