Is there anyway to tell when a head gasket is going out

 

there are probably a million threads on h-t about the symptoms of a bad headgasket. you should start with the search feature.

 

i already tried searching and didnt find anything

 

Well one rough start, lots of white smoke coming out of the tail pipe (means Coolant), lose of coolant.

 

Thats what i have been noticing, its not a horrible amount, but when i run it, as soon as you shift some white smoke comes out, and i just started noticing my coolant resevoir getting a little lower

 

i assumed it probably was the head gasket starting to go but i wanted to get a few other opinions first. so say that that is wats wrong, will it be ok for about two weeks will i can get the parts? as long as i keep coolant on it

You should be alright along as you don't get on it, and go on long trips cause you can warp your head if the motor heats up to much which happens when you have an blown head gasket. If you do drive it and one day you come out and there is a tone of white smoke coming out the tail pipe i would drive then until you get it fixed.
