Well, i was in the process of fixing my head gasket when i realized that my fel pro head gasket doesn't fit properly. 8 of the 10 holes for the head bolts line up, except for the two on the outer corners near the intake manifold. So, i was wondering if anyone has had this problem before and what gaskets fix properly. I should have just gotten an oem honda gasket

almost forgot. i have a 1990 civic dx with a d15b2. On the package it says that it is for a d15b2, but its not. I also lined it up with a cheap generic gasket ive have for a while and it is exactly the same.

 

i had the same problem, flip it over worked perfect everything matched mine was upside down

 

look at head gasket

look for word UP on it

place that side facing up

 

well that makes me feel dumb, but it lines up perfectly if you put the up side facing down
