My PCV valve lets air travel one way effortlessly, and when u try to blow air in the other end its letting air in but not nearly as high a rate as the other side, but it still lets a minimal amount of air get blown in, is this bad..?? There was also oil covering the whole bottom part of the valve upon removal..

Shake it, if it rattles its good. If it doesnt rattle replace it

 

**** a PCV valve is only like 5 bucks. Replace it.

 

The valve should allow easy air flow toward the IM and no air flow in the opposite direction. Just replace the valve as it only costs a few dollars.

i put a peice of syran wrap "sp?" over it an poked a hole in both ends... yah ima replace it anyways i was j/w if this meant it was shot just for future reference...
