Somking issues
I got a 92 cx from a junk yard that had a blown head gasket. When I brought the car home, that is the first thing I had replaced and it still smoked. I then realized the cat was probably clogged with coolant and oil and replaced it with a header that doesnt even have a cat on it, still smokes.
Now Im thinking maybe the motor over heated when the head gasket blew and burned the valve seals. Should I just take the damn car to a shop for a leak down?

No, the head is nice and flat, had it checked. I have noticed that Im burning oil like mad, though. That could mean its the valve seals/faces, piston rings, out of round cylinder walls, carbon build up... Am I missing anything?
I just realized the smoke my car puts out is white, so it must be burning some amount of coolant? Before the hg was replaced, you could tell it was burning coolant from the smell. But that smell has gone away and now it just smells like fuel.
Could a bad intake manifold gasket somehow cause coolant to leak into the combustion chambers?
EDIT: Oh and my rad fan wont turn on either, if that tells you anything...
