brake pads?
i'm in need of new brakes.. i'm getting brembo blanks but wondering what pads you would recommend.
I'd like some with minimal brake dust but works good. to slow down my b16
I'm not doing a rear disk swap yet.. probably won't really mess with the rears.

call and ask for Andie Lin, i think he should be able to answer all your questions. They have a discount for honda-tech members i think for axxis ultimates.
I just got Hawk HP Plus pads, but have yet to install them, just to throw out another option for you.

EBC (European Brake Corporation) makes pads called "Green Stuff", which offer superior braking and appreciably less dust; buy them at:

I am running Performance Friction pads. They are pretty good. I have friends that run them who have done stops from 100+mph and didn't see any fade. Plus they are decently cheap. You can pick up a set up at Autozone for a little over $30. Just my input.

When putting together the COBALT product line, I selected only what I considered to be the "best of breed" products in each performance category.
For street and auto-x, Cobalt carries the Axxis Ultimate, Ferodo DS2500 and Hawk HP Plus products. In Honda/Acura fitments, I feel that the Axxis Ultimate is the best choice in this performance category, providing the best balance between performance and streetability factors such as dust and noise, wear rates, etc.
Cobalt is offering a 15% Promotional Discount on the Axxis Ultimate brake pads to Honda-Tech.com members until the end of August. After that, the regular Honda-Tech.com discount of 10% applies. While everyone is free to shop around, I am confident you will find that Cobalt offers the very best in product/technical knowledge, product offerings, competitive prices, and customer service.

Andie Lin

I'll go with the AE/Nissin pads. Have them on the Civic, CRX and Prelude. Work great with no fade. In fact, during the past weekend I was routinely slowing from well over 90 down to 40 at Pocono. As to rotors-my cars run either stock or Brembo blanks.
