Radiator hissing LOUD and overflow steaming?!?
Friends del Sol that was recently turbo is now hissing like crazy and spewing out coolant after driving for a bit. ALOT of air coming out of what seems to be the overflow tank (I dont want to put my face too close). Headgaskets fine. What could it be?
How long is the car running before it starts overheating????
bad headgasket would be the easiest answer here but may not be likely.. Leaking headgaskets will cause a white smoke, idle/driveability problems, physical leak from the motor.. something you should have noticed prior...
However, if you have combustible gases entering the cooling system, then the cooling system develops a high amout of pressure rather quickly, the car will idle and not overheat, take it for a 15 minute drive and then things start overheating like you describe...

Fan comes on. Using a Fluidyne radiator. I'm sure the headgaskets fine. Car does NOT overheat according to the temp gauge in the car (oem Honda).
The only characteristics are the steam billowing out, the rushing air out of the overflow, and leaking coolant after a 20 min drive or so.
