Default 2009 Si - Wierd Problems

Just the got the ROP Si last monday and gonna take it to the dealer on monday. My sub seems to be rattling when i have music at any volume ( i usually have it at 10). Also i notice a clicking sound sometimes at low rpms when i shift. 1st gear also seems like its harder to put in than any other gear, would that be normal?

Let me know what you guys think of these problems. I have 750miles on the car now.

Trunk is going to rattle at just about anything about 7. It's normal. You could dynamat the trunk lining.

Clicking is very common to Hondas, injectors I believe. You can hear it more at low rpms because the engine isn't as loud.

The transmission will be a problem, you just have to accept it. On cold starts, especially.

I usually run through the gears for a minute before driving. It helps a lot. Sort of, "gets the juices flowin".

That's pretty common with the transmission. Just take it easy for the first couple of minutes.

it seems if im going over 10mph it doesnt want to go in to first very easy (clutch in all the way of course). When i stop it goes in smoother usually.

Mine goes in alright, but I've experienced what you're talking about in other cars. It shouldn't be that difficult in a new car. It's because of how high geared 1st is. Personally, if you're downshifting to 1st, do a quick rev match, makes life a lot easier for you and the transmission.

You shouldn't be downshifting into first at anything above 5mph. 2nd gear can handle about 8mph-34mph just fine.
