I need help figuring out why this light is on...I have an obd2 94 acura integra. Its boost fed but has no issues while running. Just the light, no check engine light JUST main requ light.

When i jump the harness to find the code the check engine light comes on and does not go away.. What does this mean!?! HELP!


The light being on has had no affect on the cars performance but i need it off inorder to retune Sombody figure this out!

 

...theres a small button under the steering column to your right i think its blue.. press and hold it then start the car... itll reset it.. the maintenance req light is mileage triggered.. every few thousand miles it will go on reminding you to service your car...
when u jump the service plug the check engine light will stay on... you know u have a problem when the check engine light blinks or the abs light blinks (throwing out a code) i dont think obd2 ecu store codes so...

yup. i think its every 7500 miles, the light will stay solid. but im sure you'll have like 2-3 oil changes before that thing goes off.
