need wiring help please
hey guys my harness for my ecu in my 93 cx has a couple wires jus hanging there and i was wondering how would i change that harness and how hard is it to do?
thanks in advance
thanks in advance
um why don't you find out what those wires are and plug them in. That would be easiest.
If not, I believe you have to take the battery out
then the battery holder
then all the clips that holds the harness in the engine bay
and etc,etc.
I don't think it's too hard, just time consuming. If you do, get an EX harness, that way you have the wires for VTEC already there, and you have the wires for power windows, etc, etc. My .02

Thanks....im pretty sure the wires that are hanging there are 1 of them is vtec(which explais why it ran weird with a z6 )and the other said online that its only used for other model civics but i wanna eventually upgrade from a ls soon and want everything connected
vtec should be 2 wires to the ECU Orange and Blue is one of them. The Z6 should run like a B7 until 5000RPM. Shouldn't be running funny at all. You basically have a stroke d until you get the VTEC hooked up. If your engines running funny, then something else is probably wrong with it.
It ran fine jus not like it should you know what i mean? Haha yea ima gonna go to the junkyard and try taking that harness out first befor i try it on my car thanks for the help
