Previous results were 211whp and 150wtq. The new results are 238whp and 165wtq.

The setup consists of a K20a with an Rcrew header, RBC manifold, Intake, worldsport exhaust, kpro and rdx injectors. This should be enough power to go 11.50's in a 2120 pound(w/ driver) honda civic.

 

get rid of that exhaust...getta 3inch asap!!

 

god damn, i might go 2 liter K after all. to hell with the 24.

 

It's on the list of of mods to do to next. Theres got to be a good amount of hp hiding in that tiny exhaust.

 

Also, you might want to look for a better header.

Wow, stock bottom end?

 

No track times until the weather clears. His previous best was a 12.7@109 on drag radials and full weight.

This is a stock untouched K20a bottom end.

Yes, stock bottom end. K20a's are capable of pretty good power when setup correctly. I believe there were a few people out of NY pushing past the 250 mark on stock k20a2 bottom ends.

 

Everytime I see one of your posts, it makes me want to go K.

Lol, then I think, "I got a k in 08 si". I guess I have to wait until tuning options become available.

 

what was done to the motor on the 211/150 results. great job though, midwest ftw!=p

 

The added parts were

Skunk2 Stage 2 cams
Skunk2 Valves
Skunk2 Valvesprings and Retainers

So the headpackage was worth 27whp.
