I had the same issue, but I used lock tyte for a temporary fix on the rotor screw previously till I bought a new one.

It's some like glue that you put on the thread of the screw when you put it back in. It's cheap you could find it like at autozone. It's like a couple bucks. Pretty much guarentee it won't come out anymore. If it's the screw that keep coming undone on the rotor that is.

Yeah you can buy it and your car will still crank but won't turn over right? That's a temporary fix. That's what I did and it worked well till I could get a new dizzy. As for other fixes I did what I could be a budget baller! You can ask at the store for loctite (Sorry for the miss spelling). They will be able to help you. There were different colors for different strengths.

Get loctite blue.
Red will be hard to get back off since that's such a small screw.

Oh and a little FYI try to use the screw which came off. It should be inside the Dizzy Cover that you removed.

You can get a new screw at the junkyard for free. Use loctite as said earlier.

yeah, i would recommend loctite 242. the 545 is mostly for a liquid seal, pipes, fittings, ect. the 290 would work, but you'd never get the screw out. its for heavy duty vibration proof aplications.

Don't go buck wild with the loctite, just use a small dab on the side of the screw. Also, I've had this problem in the past too, make sure the screw didn't get lodged between the rotor and something else, and damage it. I had an ignotor get murdered that way before.

Never had a coil go bad, but the ignitors wear out.
