how high does the oil in the oil pan go in a gsr?

i'm about to get a oil temp sender bung welded in my gsr, my question is, how high does the oil go in the pan? as in, how much distance from the bottom?

Not running, the pan is full! Oil circulating, I have no idea.

i need to know how high the oil is when the engine's running, the oil temp sender needs to be completely submerged.
