Default s2k stock stereo

so my buddy just bought an s2k and took the stock deck out and i was wondering if it could sucessfully be transplanted into my ef without any major surgery and also could i run into any wiring issues?

buy a metra harness on ebay.make sure its the male end for that radio.you can also buy the female end for your civic plug,or cut it off and hard wire it.

i have used honda and acura decks in my ef's for years.i think the plugs are the same up to 97.i could be a year off.

Get two harnesses, a forward harness for the car and a reverse harness for the radio. Don't cut out your factory plug! Best Buy has them.

I think it might be 88-98 are the same. Or possibly 98 is the year they changed it.

thats why i said 97.to be on the safe side.here is another option if your a cheap *** like me.its a 25.00 ex cd player.i didnt want to spend another 20.00 on plug adapters,so i depined an old ecu plug-heatshink-silicone.done.homemade plug that can be removed.

I have an S2000 CD player on my CRX. Does anyone know how to make the illumination work? The screen works fine, but all the buttons are dark.
