Final Drive for the ITR
Why do u change the final drive for R, curious cuz i see that alot do.. what does it do diferent from the stock one.

It modifies shift points. Basically, it's a life-safer and helps compensate for the lack of torque our motors produce.

Check out a search. You should be able to pull up alot of info about final drives. All the goods and bads about switching it, whats involved, and what to choose from.
But anyways. I have a JDM 4.7 FD in my car, and would NEVER go back to a stock 4.4 final drive.

that just for final drive... would there be any benefit to get the whole gear set as jason mentioned he wanted?? im sure there would be, but is it available

Ideally, you could rebuild the tranny to optimize it for each track you hit, like the NASCAR guys do
