Clutch/Transmission Problem... HELP
I need help in figuring out what is wrong with my car.
Not to long ago my car was driving great and shifting perfectly, and then once in a while it would take a little effort to get it into gear.
Now, my car can only go into gear when the engine is off. When I turn the engine off and put it into gear to move the car and press the clutch the car still continues to move and will not come out of gear.
COuld anyone help me figure out this problem?

Have you ever had your pedal stick to the floor? or in a way "lose" your pedal when you pushed it... If so I'd look into a master/slave cyl. problem.
If the pedal seems to feel normal, it could be a pressure plate problem.

No matter what, you're going to have to drop the transmission to repair it. You might as well put in a new clutch disc, pressure plate, release bearing, and pilot bearing while it's out. Don't forget have the flywheel resurfaced and pick up a few quarts of fresh Honda MTF to refill the transmission.

BEFORE you look at getting a clutch
check out the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder
the slave cylinder in particular tends to fail like nobodys business. look for a ton of greaselike gunk on the inside of the boot that covers the business end of it.
check fluid in the master cylinder, if its leaking to this point it'll be low or gone.
and its possible the master cylinder has gone bad. look for leaks around it on the firewall inside the car, or get a friend to check for clutch fork movement when you press the pedal.
hopefully its not a clutch cause these are all <$100 to fix and quite common

Thanks.
I actually stopped by my mechanic and he said without seeing the car, I should bleed the clutch and check the master cylinder.
By any chance can you tell me exactly where is the master cylinder and how do I check it?
Im still a noob to hondas.
