Default Fuel Cut, Missfiring, "bucking"

Alright, well. Last fall I parked my car, and it was running just fine. NO PROBLEMS whatsoever. Sat for months and wouldn't run right.

After diagnosing that it needed a new Coil because it had no spark at all she fired up.
Now the bad

While at idle it sounds normal. When giving it gas it misfires, backfires, and "pops", it kind of sounds like a car using it's "2-step"
Oh, also, the Rpms on the gauge cluster bounce around like crazy, and read NOTHING to what the car is actually at.

I've never not been able to figure a problem like this out before. Tried EVERYTHING I could think of. With no results. Checked the plugs, and replaced. Wires look fine. BRAND NEW Cap, Rotor, and Ignition Control Module. I'm all out of ideas.

Quick background.
Hondata S300, Peakboost Turbo Kit, 780cc Precision injectors w/resistor box, and walboro fuel pump.

Are you running factory honda ignition components i.e. cap, coil, icm & rotor ?
If not, get OEM parts!

I would suggest trying to find some one with a good distributor to borrow to test if the ignition system is your issue.

Oem Cap and Rotor.
Got a steal on an Accel Coil from work. Don't believe it could be the ACCEL because it got the car running.
Icm started the car last year because the screw fell off the distributor rotor 2 years after I replaced the cap and rotor. Still confused about that. Completely rebuilt the distributor and it wouldn't start. slapped on a new one from a buddy's garage that he got from his J-spec B18c swap and the car ran for about 3 months. Then I parked it.

If the Firing order is 1-3-4-2. Do I have the wire crossed?
Looking at the cap this is where each wire is going. I'm confused now, damn Haynes manuals. Underneath is how I have the plug wire routed.

Someone post a VERY visable picture of their plus wires and cap on their GSR please. I appreciate it so much. I've been whoring through the "integra pics" thread. And believe 2 of my wires are crossed.
Damn I feel like a noob. Never work on your car when it's pitch black out!

Have you put new gas in it or is this the same gas you had in it from last fall?

COME ON! Why can't anyone give a little bit of insight or help. Everybody has something to say about nothing. But then when a real problem arrises everyones quiet.

umm...looking at the firing order you posted, your wires are wrong on the distributor....yea are right about 1,3,4,2, however your wires are going to the wrong spot on the distributor according to this qoute..

yea I know, I messed that up. They were actually right, the car wasn't at my house so I was guessing when I made the post online. But they were actually correct. Oops. I really wanna drive my god damn car. The dsmer's in my area are running their mouths lately, so I wanna see what I can do....but the car won't move so I get to say nothing.

a friend of mine suddenly experienced cut out at low rpm sometimes and very frequently at high load/high rpm

pulled the plugs, had water in the plug holes.....
cleaned everything and put it back in
testrun---->same thing
changed out the distributor with mine (standing still for 6months but knew it worked)
testrun---->same thing

changed out the plug wires with mine, had no hopes for it to work
testrun---->everything back to normal, so MSD's on the way

lesson, at least try to switch out with known good ones

I agreee......I'd toss in new plugs, wires, and dizzy and try that...if its still not working, I'd do a compression test and leak down test...see how your motor looks.

hmm. Interesting. Well, new wires are being shipped in. Advance is warrantying out an ignitor for me. I Ohm metered the 3 crank sensors inside the dizzy, and the coil. Going to go for one final shot on friday to see what happens. If not I'm buying a new dizzy from work. Crossing my fingers and praying I get to drive the green monster around the block.
But I still need to find out what caused the dizzy to go bad in the first place.

Just got paid, Advanced Auto Parts screwed me over on my igniter-icm. So I'm just going to pick up a new dizzy that I ordered from work today and throw it on. Really wanted to warrenty swap the igniter and see what happens since it failed on the autometer tester. But they really f-d up my plans on that. Didn't want to have to spend the 181 bucks on a new diz. But whatever. I omh metered the 3 sets of pin outs inside the dizzy. They all read 363 I believe. And the new dizzy I ordered up for myself read very similar. Oh well. We'll see what happens. I just couldn't understand why it was acting retarded. It sounded like a car running 2 step and the tach needle was jumping all over the place. I just wanna BOOOOOST!
