Windshield Banner
Is there anyone out there in the Pittsburgh area that are good with vinyl decals? It's one thing I'm definitly awful with. I need one removed, and a new one put on. Or if anywhere knows of a business around town I can get one made and put on that would be great, because I'm not too crazy about this new one I ordered online.
You can remove a windshield with some goo gone and a razor and it is easier on a warm day.
When you install your banner, use a dry erase marker and simply mark on the windshield where the halfway point is and any other guiding marks that you need. Then you can wipe it off w/o a problem. Good luck!

Apply it like tint would be my guess assuming it's vinyl.
Wet the area thoroughly and squeegee out the water when it's in place.
A heat gun would probably help in the removal too.

I looked, you've posted in practically every TECH section without a single post containing any TECH.

It is not hard really. Most places charge nearly $50 or more the make a windshield banner and even more to install it. All you need is a friend or two. I installed me Accord windshield banner with my dad and it came out just fine.
If it is vinyl you dont need water. Simply clean the area with dish soap and water, let it dry, and apply the banner. To apply a decal banner the banner has a sheet of paper over it and a paper backing. Remove the backing, stick to windshield, use a credit card and firmly press all of the decal to remove all air bubbles a few times and then slowly remove the top layer.
Be warned though, that in most cases, you cannot stick the decal and then lift it back up or it will be ruined. Also make sure there are no crinkels. When I did mine, I made sure it was centered and then taped the top of the decal to the windshield, flipped up the decal, removed backing and then evenly flipped it back down.

i did the same thing that 19Accord97 did when i put my decals on my truck. they weren't as big as a windshield one, but just watch out because once it's on the glass it can't be removed. make sure you clean the glass good before you stick it on too
