My windshield molding is popping up slightly on one side. I keep pushing it back into place but it keeps popping back out. I wanted to know if I can replace this whole molding without damaging the seal around the windshield. Or is there some sort of a sealant that has to be replaced if you take this off? Same with the back glass because that has a few small dents in it. Any info is appreciated.

I would highly advise you not to take the molding off if you live in a area, that they use alot of salt on the roads(or it rains alot) Mine went bad about 3 years ago, and I didnt get it replaced for the next two. Now I have alot of rust forming along both sides of the windshild. So now I got to have sombody fix the rust before my windshild nolonger seals, and water will drain into the car. About a 750 doller fix.
